TDP planning YSRCP voter deletion in a big way
04 Feb 2019 10:04 AM
A massive operation, it appears, is underway in Andhra Pradesh to delete the names of large number of voters, who might not vote for the TDP in the coming polls. This appears to be happening all across AP and there are strong rumours that the names of those who are likely to vote for the YSRCP have been targeted.
At least four such incidents that came to the notice of the people show the extent of the scam. In Kothacheruvu of Anantapur, some bogus survey groups have been detained after they were found to be collecting information about voters who are supporting the YSRCP. The survey groups were trying to ascertain the details of those who might not vote for the TDP. These people were having Government ID cards.
In Puttaparthy, a group of people collecting information from YSRCP supporters in Bukkapatnam, Kothacheruvu and other areas were nabbed. In Guntakal too, 40 members of a secret group conducting survey were nabbed. In Hindupuram, the TDP leaders were caught collecting information about the YSRCP supporters, booth conveners and others in the name of Scorpio socio Political Analysis and Research Centre.
These groups were asking people questions like who is their favourite politician, which channel do they watch and other questions. On the face of it, these leaders are asking questions as to whether the people received Government largesse.
