Sand Will Be Sold Only Through APMDC

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, said that corruption rate was very high in allocation of all contracts during the Chnadrababu Naidu regime in the state. He condemns the opposition party allegation over AP government of wasting the funds for inappropriate schemes.
Finance Minister visited Narsapuram village of West Godavari district on Thursady, November 28. Speaking to the media on the occasion, the minister said that today's welfare schemes will be the investment for tomorrow's betterment of the state.
Rajendranath Reddy said that TDP government has pending bills worth Rs. 60 thousand crores. So far, only Rs. 20 thousand crores were paid by the state government.
The minister said that the corporation will be formed only after collecting details of all the branches in districts.
"The AP state is expected to generate revenue of Rs 17,500 Crore through liquor and RS 1000 Crore with sand," Buggana Rajendranath said.
The YSR Congress Party Minister said that they are giving top priority to welfare schemes like YSR Pension, Amma Vodi and Raithu Bharosa Scheme.
The minister has further stated that state government has no intention of conducting auctions for sand ramps. The Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC) will handle all the the sand sales, Rajendranath added.
