Tirupati: YSR Congress party Chief secretary and MLA Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy confirmed that the Samara Shankaravam, a row of public meetings will begin from Tirupati.
In the meeting, the Leader of opposition of Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will address the booth level conveners, committee members regarding the upcoming elections.
Talking to the media, Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy said, "Samara Shankaravam will begin on February 4 in Tirupati. The meetings under the same banner will be conducted in 13 districts of AP," he informed.
The YSRCP leader observed that, on February 5, the meeting will be organized in YSR Kadapa, February 6 in Anantapur and by the end of the month, the meetings will be held in all the districts.
Reminding about the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, the mass outreach initiative taken up by YS Jagan, he said, "The people’s leader participated in a padayatra for 14 months, which is impossible for any other leader in the country. YS Jagan is always amidst the people leaving no stone unturned for the future of the state".
Peddireddy exuded confidence that all the surveys are in the favor of YSRCP and the party is going to create history at the ballot in the coming elections.
YSRCP leader predicted that in the coming Lok Sabha elections, the party is going to win 20 to 22 constituencies and will play a key role in the appointment of Prime Minister.
He clarified that YSRCP is going to contest in the election alone, without any alliances and at the centre, YSRCP is going to support the party which assures Special Category Status for the state.
Talking about Chandrababu, he said, it is with the fear of losing the elections Chandrababu is copying the Navaratnalu, welfare schemes announced by YSRCP.
Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy flayed Chandrababu and said, he has not fulfilled at least one of the 600 assurances given before polls and is again trying to repeat the same.
Rama Chandra Reddy warned the people about Chandrababu and remarked that people of his own constituency are against him. People of AP should also learn about his cheating nature, he added.
