Rampant corruption in Amaravati

Tadepalli, May 11: Reiterating that rampant corruption is going on in the name of Amaravati, YSRCP has said the proposed capital city is going to be a huge burden on the people of the State.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, former Minister Perni Venkataramiah (Nani) said the Mavigun concept of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is more viable, economical, and places no burden on the people.
Plots are not being given to farmers around Chandrababu's house but are being allotted at faraway places, while nepotism is being shown by giving plots to the kin of his close associates.
While Chandrababu's benamis are getting plots, many farmers are being left out and are in distress as corruption and nepotism are rampant.
There has been a lot of discrimination and nepotism in Amaravati, and one Union Minister has been insulting farmers.
No one knows when Amaravati will be completed, and five lakh people are affected by the land pooling. With such stakes involved, Mavigun is the best option, he said.
Instead of replying to the concept, he has been using his ministers to target YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
