*People ready to press the ‘farewell button’ on Chandrababu Govt: Dadisetti Raja*

Tuni, June 1: Former Minister and YSRCP leader Dadisetti Raja said no section of society is satisfied with the coalition government’s performance and that public anger is steadily building against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Addressing the media in Tuni, Raja described Chandrababu’s monthly pension-distribution events as political shows aimed at diverting attention from governance failures and unfulfilled promises.

He said Chandrababu falsely projected himself as the champion of pensions while more than six lakh beneficiaries have been removed compared to the YSRCP government. According to Raja, women at the Tuni meeting walked away within minutes, unwilling to listen to what he termed a repetition of false claims and self-promotion.

Raja stated that while Chandrababu speaks about “Super Six” success, key promises such as Aadabidda Nidhi, unemployment allowance, farmer assistance, and free gas cylinders remain unfulfilled. He argued that instead of answering these questions, the government resorts to personal attacks and political diversion.

The former minister said the coalition government has spent two years dismantling welfare, education, healthcare, and grassroots governance systems established during Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tenure. He noted that village secretariats, Rythu Bharosa Kendras, health centres, and Nadu-Nedu schools remain visible reminders of the previous government’s work.

Raja further said official figures contradict Chandrababu’s claims on debt and welfare. While the YSRCP government used borrowings to directly support people through welfare schemes, he said, the present government has accumulated massive debt without delivering comparable benefits. He also dismissed claims of large-scale job creation and investment-driven growth as exaggerated promises lacking visible outcomes.

Concluding, Raja said farmers, youth, traders, employees, and welfare beneficiaries are increasingly disillusioned with the government and that people across Andhra Pradesh are preparing to give the coalition government a decisive political verdict.
