Jogi Ramesh challenge lie detector test, demands CBI probe

Vijayawada, 15 October: YSR Congress Party leader and former minister Jogi Ramesh lodged a formal complaint at the Vijayawada Police Commissioner’s Office seeking strict action against the fake and defamatory social media campaign linking him to Janardhan, who is in remand in the spurious liquor case. He stated that forged WhatsApp chats and videos are being circulated by yellow media and pro-TDP social media networks as part of a politically motivated conspiracy to damage his image and defame the YSRCP.
Speaking to media, Jogi Ramesh made it clear that he has no connection with Janardhan or the spurious liquor racket. He said:
“I am ready to undergo a lie detector test to prove my innocence. Are Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh ready to face the same test on the allegations they are making against me? If they have courage, let them prove it.”
He said the TDP is trying to divert public anger over the fake liquor scandal by dragging his name into it. He demanded a CBI inquiry into the spurious liquor mafia operating under political protection. He also said:
“I am prepared to hand over my phones for investigation. If Chandrababu and Lokesh believe in truth, let them come with me to Tirumala and Kanaka Durga Temple and swear on their allegations.”

He accused Chandrababu of misusing power to target BC leaders and warned that truth will prevail.
