Tirupati: Describing as drama the stone pelting show put up by Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP has said it will seek a full fledge police inquiry into the incident and take stern action against the culprits.
Speaking to media here on Monday Panchayat Raj Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said, the stage-managed show by Chandrababu shows how desperate he is to grab public attention as defeat has been staring at TDP in the bypoll.
If there is a hit, the stone should come from some direction and there should be an injury but here things were different.
The incident so happened that the stone seems to have landed at the fag end of his speech in which he levelled serious allegations against the Chief Minister.
Displaying the stone Chandrababu had resorted to theatrics, used abusive language and staged a sit-in and said that he would complain to the district SP and there are reports that he will also meet the Governor tomorrow.
The sequence of events show that it was stage managed and we will also ask the police to inquire into the incident and book the guilty, he said.
The incident was created to attribute motives to YSRCP and this is being done only save his Party from slipping into oblivion, he said.
I urge the police to conduct a thorough investigation and take action against anyone who has pelted the stone and if found that it was stage managed take action against TDP leadership, he said adding that 'there is no need for us to pelt stones as TDP is fast fading.'
