CM’s foresight helped combat situation

Amaravati: Government Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy emphasized that the state is in better condition compared to the others because of the Chief Minister’s foresight and time to time action on the coronavirus outbreak in the state.

Alerted by the virus outbreak, the Chief Minister ordered the officials in various departments and allotted 50 households for each volunteer and collected data of foreign returnees which was submitted to the health department. The tests have been performed on them and the entire process was completed like a silent wave and this helped a lot in preventing the spread of the virus, he said while talking to media here on Tuesday.

YSRCP government is people’s government and that is being witnessed by the state people again. With the stern actions by the government to prevent Coronavirus, he said every employee from medical, police, sanitation, panchayat raj, and revenue departments are dedicated to their duty and working day in and day out to control the virus spread. Never like in any other state, the village volunteer system implemented by YSRCP government in AP has collected huge medical data with the help of volunteers and that helped the officials to get a hold on the situation.

The virus outbreak is in control form the past three days with the steps taken by the government from the village level. To bring the situation to complete control, he asked the state people to follow the guidelines issued by the government and cooperate with the emergency staff. He alerted people to ensure safety by staying at home and avoid coming out unless there is an emergency.

While the government is fighting against the epidemic, a few people are trying to politicize the issue. YSRCP party members are trying to bring awareness among the people and asked every respnsible citizen to guide those who are not aware of the current situation, Sajjala said.

He recalled the Hud-Hud scam during the previous TDP government under N Chandrababu Naidu and said, unlike Naidu, the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is directly monitoring the situation and directing the officials to ensure people’s safety and implement lockdown strictly. Moreover, the works are at the forefront to deliver ration supplies to the ration cardholders and financial assistance of Rs 1000 will be provided to the poor.
