Chandrababu closing cases against him

Tadepalli, Nov 28: YSRCP has slammed Chandrababu Naidu for misusing power to scrap the cases in which he is facing serious charges.

Speaking to the media on Friday, MLA Tadiparthi Chandrasekhar said that Chandrababu is misusing his office to dilute the cases filed against him.

Chandrababu is facing corruption charges running into crores of rupees, and he is now attempting to close all the cases. There is strong evidence in every case, but he has been trying to weaken them, he said.

Officials who filed complaints are being threatened and pressured to withdraw their statements, which is a gross misuse of power. Unable to face the legal process, Chandrababu has chosen a shortcut, he alleged.

The MLA further said that the credibility and performance of the State police has drastically declined due to such actions.
