May 19, 2014: Appeal of YS Jagan and the MPs of YSRCP to Narendra Modi in Delhi for the state's special status even before he swore in as the Prime Minister of India

March 2015: YS Jagan and YSRCP MPs go to Delhi and remind PM Narendra Modi of the special status.

May 2015: YSRCP MPs protest near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the parliament during parliamentary sessions demanding special status.

June 3,4, 2015: Leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan stages a 2-day samara deeksha at Mangalagiri and demands special status for the state.

June 9, 2015: YS Jagan meets the President of India in New Delhi and brings the issue of special status to his notice.

August 10: MLAs, MLCs and MPs of YSRCP hold agitation at Jantar Mantar, thus announcing the wish of the people for special status at national level. They get arrested in Delhi for conducting 'March to Parliament' on the same day.
 
August 29, 2015: State-level bandh is conducted successfully with the slogan "Prathyeka Hodaa-Andhrula Hakku" (Special status is the right of the people of AP)

September 15, 2015: YS Jagan conducts 'Yuvabheri' meeting in Tirupati and awakens the students of the universities and the youth regarding special status of the state.

September 22, 2015: Yuvabheri meeting held at Visakhapatnam

October 7, 2015: YS Jagan begins indefinite hunger strike for special status.

October 14, 2015: The Government disturbs YS Jagan's indefinite strike in light of the attention attracted from people. 

January 27, 2016: Yuvabheri held at Kakinada explaining the importance of special status

February 2, 2016: Students and youth are gathered in Srikakulam and Yuvabheri is held.

February 23,24, 2016: YS Jagan meets the President of India and the cabinet home minister to remind them of the need and importance of special status for AP.
