YSRCP’s struggle for SCS continues

Hyderabad: The YSR Congress party protested in the parliament demanding Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh. Before the session began YSRCP MP V. Vijayasai Reddy staged a protest by holding a placard near the Gandhi statue for SCS. Later after the session began, Vijayasai Reddy stood up in his place and shouted slogans demanding SCS to the state.

The House was adjourned due to the protests by the opposition and was to reconvene after lunch. The session resumed at 2 PM and the opposition continued with their protest. The Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman postponed the session to Wednesday in view of the interruptions.

Talking to the media later, in the premises of parliament MP Vijayasai Reddy flayed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu over his statements regarding the YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. YSRCP leader said” Chandrababu called KCR as the middle Modi and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as junior Modi. This statement released yesterday indicates his mental condition, he added. Chandrababu Naidu appears to have lost his mental balance, he added.
