TDP allegations baseless

Hyderabad, March 2: YSR Congress has slammed TDP ministers for leveling baseless allegations on Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy after their land deals were exposed.
‘It is baseless and utterly irresponsible allegations that the ministers have leveled against our Party President after the exposure of their nefarious land deals and this would in no manner absolve them from the charges they are facing,’ party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Wednesday.
The very fact that they have set up a committee, as if to supersede the Central committee headed by Sivaramakrishan shows their designs of land scam. It becomes more evident when they did not involve the revenue minister in the parallel committee as Chief Minister has reservations and wanted only his henchmen to deal with the capital land issue, he said.
The capital city formation has been always in the lurch and had many murky dealings right from land acquisition to allotment of contract at inflated prices and instead of facing an inquiry the ministers leveling baseless allegations against the opposition leader only shows that they are scared.
‘As they are in government, if they can prove from the revenue records the allegations, our leader will forego the land but the minister should volunteer for the inquiry’, he said.
