Secret Of Success Revealed By YS Jagan

Hyderabad: General body meeting of YSR Congress Party that has happened at Vijayawada is now the topic of discussion in political field. Prominently, the speech delivered by the leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan has attracted attention.

New trend introduced by YS Jagan

The leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan delivered an inspirational speech at the general body meeting. Mandal level leaders and constituency coordinators were also invited. He informed the details about Gadapagadapaku YSR programme and explained how this would work as a stepping stone to the success of the party. He cited the example of senior leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and admired him for never losing in his career. He mentioned that Peddireddy always stayed amidst people even after elections. YS Jagan stated that certain other MLAs also made sure they visited the people of their constituencies regularly.

Directions to the party leaders

YS Jagan opined that being amidst the people was the secret of success in politics. He explained the benefits of Gadapagadapaku YSR programme.

  1. Knowing the opinions of everybody in every household in order to function accordingly
  2. Recognition of leaders in the villages who work actively and dedicatedly for the party
  3. Arrangement of booth committees right then and there, in order to assign responsibilities to capable leaders
  4. Collection of opinions and suggestions by getting relevant field filled on the brochures and bringing them to the notice of the party
  5. Building a good bridge between the party and the people

Hence, YS Jagan instructed for proper implementation of Gadapagadapaku YSR programme.

In light of leaders and MLAs of certain constituencies defecting the party, lured by the ruling party, YS Jagan's speech seems to have shut down the door for negative criticism. He has indirectly declared that the party has the capacity to develop more capable leaders in the defectors' constituencies. YS Jagan preached the leaders of the party to use the 'Gadapagadapaku YSR' programme as stepping stone to  victory in those constituencies. He suggested that if a person could gain the trust and affection of people, he could become a great leader and did not need to come from a family of leaders. He revealed that genuinely attaining the trust of people was the success secret to a politician.
