Partiality In Implementing Rules

Guntur: TDP leaders' misdeeds under the mask of power have exceeded limits. Misusing authority and keeping officials under their control, they are performing certain acts that even they may find fault in if others do, also bending laws to their benefit. Uninhibited construction of illegal buildings in Narasaraopet city of Guntur district is going on with great acceleration, while the general public building apartments after getting all required permissions are having to face resistance and pay bribe.

A councilor from TDP built a 5-story building in 11 feet-wide land in front of Geetha Mandiram in Pathuru. Another councilor is constructing a G+5 building in 10 cents land in Lingamgutla panchayat area near NTR Nagar on Vinukonda road. TDP leader of the 18th ward occupied an R&B land near Reddy college and Palnadu road junction and is building a -storied commercial complex in 4 cents area. Two constructions have been done between Prakashnagar and RTC bus stand. Plans for all these constructions have been taken online. Permission for their construction is only till G+2 or G+3. Municipal officers are staying indifferent to these illegal constructions.

Officials, on the other hand, are showing their power on the general people and YSRCP supporters who are constructing buildings after getting all the required permissions. A woman tried to build an extra room in her 1.5 cent land in front of St.Joseph school in Prakash Nagar and municipal officers were made to poke holes in her slab just because she was not a TDP supporter.

Constructions being made after seeking all necessary permissions and paying all required fees are being questioned. A 5-storied apartment building in Ramireddy Nagar was destroyed with political vengeance, citing the lack of certificate for future road extension. Officers who are supposed to act without partiality are being bound by the Government's pressure and enticement. General people are waiting for the end of his tyrannical rule.
