Janmabhoomi ends up as a zero

Chandrababu’s flagship programme Janmabhoomi is a
dud and Government’s advisor Parakala Prabhakar himself admitted to it.
According to him, all districts of Andhra Pradesh are in C Grade in the
implementationof Janmabhoomi assurances. Even mandals are in the C
grade. Though there were several lakhs of petitions, not even a quarter
of them were solved.

Chandrababu re-introduced
Janmabhoomi and wanted every one from village secretary to chief
secretary and from sarpanch to CM everyone to be on the same page and
work in tandem. He wanted the officials to take up field inspections
once in ten days
and the performance to be evaluated on 20 developmental parametres.
But, the actual performance is very disappointing. Not even one mandal
could match up to all the 20 parametres. This only means that the
Janmabhoomi has become a failure.

Meanwhile,
the Janmabhoomi committes appointed by the ruling party have become
havens of corruption and are running a parallel government. They are
ensuring that the benefits of the welfare schemes reach only the party
workers and leaders. As a result, the whole Janmabhoomi has ended up as a
farce.
