The chief made the promise of waiver of DWACRA loans, unemployment dole, three acres of land to poor dalits, Housing for all and BC status to Kapu community. After coming to power, Chandrababu put all the promises including wiaver of farmers loans in the cold storage.
Chandrababu released two separate election manifestos for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in 2014 elections. He mentioned special status to AP as one of the top priorities in the manifesto. Practically, the chief minister left the people' s genuine demand in the lurch. As a result, the state deprived of availing the benefits under special status.
