Chandrababu brings outsiders to win Kakinada

After Nandyal, which, if the exit polls are any indication, is all but lost, TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu wants to salvage some prestige in Kakinada. The city is going for civic polls and Chandrababu feels, here too, the YSRCP is clearly ahead in the race.

He appears to have lost all confidence in the local TDP leaders and has deployed leaders from outside. Several leaders have already began working to grab the civic body again. This has given lot of heart burn to the local leaders. Already, the TDP high command feels that Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has been completely sidelined. Chandrababu, sources say, feels that Yanamala will not add any value in Kakinada. Local MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao too has been sidelined as he has done too many things that put the party in a spot. Even deputy chief minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa has been kept aside. Now, Pratiipati Pulla Rao is leading the TDP campaign in Kakinada.

The fear of a resurgent YSRCP is stalking the ruling TDP and Chandrababu is pulling all stops to win Kakinada.
