“Doctors will examine her and tell their opinion in a couple of days,” party advisor D A Somayajulu told reporters here on Friday.
After the doctors give their opinion and clearance the padayatra will resume, he said. In all likelihood it may take one week to ten days for Sharmila to restart the padayatra, he said.
Sharmila had stopped the Maro praja prasthanam padayatra due to a knee injury in Ranga Reddy district. She underwent a surgery and is undergoing physio therapy since then.
She covered Rayalaseema and some parts of Telangana before calling off the padayatra as the knee injury aggravated.
