Kakinada City: People from Sambamurthy Nagar of the 8th division of the city complained that their area had turned horrible due to improper maintenance of sanitation. As part of Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress programme, YSRCP city coordinator Muttha Sasidhar toured in streets 2,3 and 4 of Sambamurthy Nagar, along with the party's leaders and activists. People revealed that their dream to live in an own house remained a dream due to indifference of the Government. They reported that the colony primarily had flood problem at the time of rainfall and due to improper sanitation, mosquitoes were being a huge problem. Speaking on this occasion, Muttha Sasidhar demanded to know the response of the officials who were declaring Kakinada had become a smart city, to the problems being reported here.
Mummidivaram: Women of Mummidivaram commented that Chandrababu had made numerous promises at the time of elections, but was not showing concern towards them now. YSRCP's constituency coordinator Pithani Balakrishna held Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress programme at the 5th ward of the urban panchayat area and learnt about people's problems. Then he gave handouts of Praja Ballot and gathered the score offered by the people to Chandrababu's rule. He complained that pensions were not being sanctioned and housing scheme had been watered down, as he spoke on the occasion. He also stated that the people had reported to him about the devastated state of roads and the employment guarantee scheme not being implemented. Bommi Lakshmi, an aged woman reported to the leader that she had not been getting pension in spite of being over 70 years old.
