YSRCP to announce its action plan soon

Hyderabad, March 27,
2013: YSR Congress Party honourary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma on Wednesday said
the party will soon announce its action programme against the Government’s
negligence to tackle the power crisis.

Speaking to reporters
at the Gandhi Hospital after calling on the Left leaders who were treated following
their forced eviction from the protesting camp at Indira Park last night, she
said Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has failed to state clearly on how he will
tackle the power crisis and reduce the power tariff burden on the people.

Saying that the
Government is adamant on the issue, she remarked it is ridiculous on part of
Kiran Kumar to say that not even a single acre crop has withered due to the
longer power cuts. “YSR always stood in the forefront of the fight for public
cause,” she said, adding YSRCP will support any organization or political party
which fights on the people’s problems.

The leaders of the Left
parties later announced they have withdrawn their hunger strike and decided to
take up the fight in a different form.
