YSRCP's Agitation Provoked The Government To Act

Guntur: YSRCP's call for dharna in demand for release of irrigation water brought the Government down. Officials released water to Nagarjuna Sagar reservoir's right canal on Wednesday. The 5000 cusec water released will be provided to 8.35 lakh acres in Guntur and Prakasam districts. The release of water will happen for 25 days and 10 TMC of water will be released every day. YSRCP had earlier taken up agitation for the purpose. Leaders called for Maha Dharnas in Vinukonda and Narsaraopet today. This has made the Government to come down and release the irrigation water.
