YSRCP cadres express ire at Anam across state

Hyderabad, April 13,
2013: In a surge of strong disapproval of the abusive and blasphemous rhetoric
used against the YSR family members by Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, angry party
leaders and activists resorted to Rasta Roko agitations and burning of the
effigies of the minister across the state on Saturday.
At several places, the
activists hanged the minister’s effigies expressing their ire for his comments.
They demanded the Minister to withdraw his comments and apologize to the YSR
family.
In Hyderabad, party
leaders Rupananda Reddy and Silam Prabhakar conducted Rasta Roko and burnt the
effigies of the Minister at Ranigunj and Madapur raising slogans against him.
As police tried to interfere and disperse the activists, mild tension prevailed
in the two places.
At Erragadda in
Hyderabad, party leaders Putta Pratap Reddy and Nalla Suryaprakash have
demonstrated at the mental hospital along with hundreds of activists demanding
the hospital management to admit Anam Ramnarayana Reddy and treat him for his
insane qualities.
The YSRCP rank and file
also agitated and burnt the effigies of the Minister at Chilakaluripet,
Tadikonda Addaroddu, Dachepally, Muppalla and Medikonduru in Guntur District,
at Miryalaguda and Nakirekal in Nalgonda District, at Gajwel in Medak district,
at Penumally and Iyyambanjar in Khammam District, at Kuppam, V. Kota and
Palamaneru in Chittor District, at Pendurthi in Visakhapatnam district and at
Ravulapalem and Mummidivaram in East Godavari District.
In Visakhapatnam city,
YSRCP activists have taken out a rally holding the effigy of the Minister and
later burnt it.
