Hyderabad: Welcoming the High
Court directive to maintain status quo in the Penumaka land acquisition, YSR
Congress MLA Alla Ramakrsihna Reddy said that the farmers and locals were
waiting for such a directive as it safeguards their interests.
Speaking to media here on
Monday he said, the Social Impact Assessment in the capital area region
was carried out as a mere formality ignoring the actual purpose of it.
The state has to act as per the directive
of the High Court now and we will keep a check on the obsession of Chandrababu
Naidu towards land, he said.
The Court has directed to take into
cognizance the objection of farmers which should be followed without any
deviations, he said.
