YSRCP Walks Out of the Assembly Once Again

Hyderabad: YSRCP president and leader of opposition YS Jagan slammed Chandrababu’s Government for its corruption in sanctioning pension to the aged, the widows and the handicapped. He reminded that late Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy had raised the amount of pension from Rs.70 to Rs.200. But now that amount being too less, YSRCP had proposed to raise it to Rs.700. YS Jagan added that TDP had immediately proposed its raise to Rs.1000. But after coming to power, pensions were never properly sanctioned, specified YS Jagan. Rs.43 lakh being the amount of pension to be given, not more than Rs.39 lakh was given in any month, he stated. Then YS Jagan announced walk out of YSRCP members protesting to the Government’s attitude pertaining to this issue.
