YSRCP recognised in both Telangana, AP

Hyderabad,
June 25. 2014: The Election Commission of India has accorded recognition to Yuvajana
Sramika Rythu Congress Party as a state party in both Andhra Pradesh and
Telangana. 

In
a communication to the party, the Election Commission said the recognition was granted
following the party’s performance in the recently concluded General and
assembly elections in the two states.  

“YSRCP
has fulfilled the conditions laid down in Para 6A of the Election Commission (Reservation
and Allotment) order, 1968 for recognition as a state party in  both the states,” the party said in a
statement issued here on Tuesday.  

In
both the states, YSRCP will henceforth contest the elections on Ceiling Fan symbol
reserved for it.
