YSRCP protest for special status gets support from National leaders

CPI national leader Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy has pledged his support for YSRCP's fight for AP special categeory status. Reddy visited the party MPs who are on hunger strike at AP Bhavan on Wednesday and expressed his concern over their health.
Addressing the leaders at AP Bhavan, Suravaram said that the then prime minister had promised special category status for Andhra Pradesh. He also alleged that the current government has not implemented the promises made by the previous government. He further lamented that the centre is forcibly suppressing the opposition and the people.
YSRCP's struggle for special status to AP has been intensified with state bandhs and rail rokos, he said. Reddy also hit out at the Modi government saying that the prime minister is preventing the YSRCP leaders from moving a no confidence motion in the parliament.
Suravaram Reddy also assured that he will support all the protests and agitations for to achieve SCS for AP.
