YSRCP not to contest Avanigadda by poll

Hyderabad, Aug 3, 2013:  YSRCP has decided not to contest the
Avanigadda assembly by-poll as a mark of respect towards the family of Ambati
Brahmanaiah who passed away recently.

YSR Congress party said
in a statement that it has decided not to contest the by-poll out of respect
for the Ambati Brahmanaiah family notwithstanding its opposition to TDP Chief Chandrababu
Naidu’s double standards and his politics of conspiracy.

“We have no respect
for Naidu who has lost his credibility among the people. But we have decided to
express our solidarity for the bereaved family on humanitarian grounds and
hence our decision,” said the statement
