YSRCP MPTCs Walk Out

Narasaraopet: YSRCP MPTC members questioned how development activities in the villages could be held without giving information to them. In the Mandal Parishad general body meeting, the 6 projects to be taken up with general funds were discussed. Slamming the inclusion of secret projects taken up in the mandal in the agenda without proposing them to MPTCs, they walked out of the meeting on Tuesday.

The general body meeting was held, presided by MPP K.Prabhakara Rao on Tuesday. Vice-president, Yannam Ramireddy questioned how the projects taken up with general funds could be included in the agenda without informing the MPTCs. MPDO Balu Nayak informed that estimations had already gotten ready.

Questioning how estimations also had been done without their consent, YSRCP MPTCs Y.Venkatappa Reddy, Venna Madhavi, ZPTC Sk.Nooral Aqtab commented that at least complete details had not been given. They discussed this with Panchayati Raj AE, Harinath and MPDOs. As they said that the MPTCs' proposals also were welcome, the MPTCs rose to walk out, saying what was the use when estimations also had been prepared.
