YSRCP moves adjournment motion, speaker declines

Hyderabad:YSRCP took its stand on forcible land pooling in the proposed capital area on Wednesday. The party members had given an adjournment motion on this. However, Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad disallowed the motion and wanted the house to get on with the question hour.

But the opposition insisted on a  discussion on this issue with utmost priority. The leaders surrounded the well asking the speaker to allot time for discussion as many farmers were being forced to part with their only source of living.

Minister Achchan Naidu intervened and asked the opposition to let the house continue. Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad adjourned the house as the opposition was keen on having a discussion with the government.
