YSRCP MLAs stage dharna at CMO

Hyderabad, Oct 18, 2013: YSRCP MLAs met Chief
Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy at his secretariat office on Friday and submitted a
representation asking him to convene a special assembly session for adopting a
Samaikyandhra resolution and sending it to the Centre.

But the CM told them it would not
be possible to convene a special assembly session. He rather suggested that the
Telangana resolution could be defeated whenever it comes to the assembly.

“Convening special assembly session
will not serve any useful purpose,:” he told them bluntly.

Protesting against the adamant
stance of the CM, the YSRCP MLAs later staged dharna in front of the C-Block in
the secretariat. Police arrested them and released them later.
