Hyderabad, YSR Congress has said that it is confident of getting an appointment from the Prime Minister Narender Modi during his visit to the state. ‘We have written a letter on October 14 seeking an appointment with the Prime Minister on October 22 when he visits the State and we hope that the PMO will consider the request favourably,’ Party leader and MP YV Subba Reddy told reporters here on Wednesday.
We mentioned in the letter that all the Party MPs, MLAs and MLCs will represent the special status issue and sought time which is convenient to him. Even otherwise, we request the Prime Minister to make a categorical statement on the special status during his visit and the chief minister should broach the subject in his presence and see to it to get a positive reply, he said.
