YSRCP extends support to contract workers' protest

Vijayawada: The YSR Congress Party stood by the Contract Workers of electricity department who are fighting for their rights.
The leaders of the united platform for Contract Workers have staged a silent protest on Wednesday. YSRCP senior leader Jogi Ramesh has extended support to the protest.
Speaking on the occasion, Jogi Ramesh lashed out at the AP government for neglecting the contract workers. How can they run their families with minimum wage per month is between Rs 7,000 to 8,000, he asked.
Demanding equal pay for equal work, Jogi Ramesh asked the government to regularise the contract workers.
