YSRCP Demands White Paper on Handri Neeva & Galeru

Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party official spokesperson Vellampalli Srinivas on Wednesday demanded Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N CHandrababu Naidu to release a white paper on the expenditure incurred in the construction of Galeru Nagari and Handri Neeva irrigation projects since three years.

Srinivas said that the TDP government confined to inflate the estimation of the two projects which have been considered as lifeline to the drought hit Rayalaseema region to address irrigation and drinking water problems. Former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy has taken up the projects by allocating sufficient funds and completed the works targeted in his regime. The opposition leader dared the CM to release a white paper on the status of two pending projects.

The YSR Congress leader alleged that Chandrababu has taken up " Jala Haarati' to encash the sentiments of gullible people. The CM has no moral right to speak on river linking as Chandrababu occupied river Krishna land and constructed a palatial residence on river bank.
