YSRCP demands Registration of poor houses

YSR Congress Party Vijayawada city wing working President Malladi Vishnu demanded the state government to take up the registrations of the houses constructed  by  poor in the city . The party leaders and workers on Thursday staged dharnas against the stoppage of registrations in Singh Nagar, payakapuram and VAMBAY colonies.  

Vishnu pointed out that the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu visited the colonies and assured the dwellers of  registration of their houses last year.  The local constructed houses under rehabilitation scheme 20 years ago but the properties are yet to be registered in their names. 

The YSR Congress leader suspected the ruling TDP leaders conspired to occupy the valuable lands by delaying  the  transfer of ownership rights to the  poor.  Nearly 20,000 houses were not registered for two decades. He warned to lay siege the Collector office if the registration is  not done immediately.
