YSRCP condemns political murders

“We condemn the killing of our party mandal convener Prasad Reddy in Ananthapuram district and demand an inquiry into all the political killings after TDP formed the government,” party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma told reporters here on Wednesday.

The law and order situation has worsened in the State with YSRCP leaders and workers being targeted by the ruling party leaders and their henchmen. The incident at Ananthapuram district taking place at the Tahsildar office shows that the criminal activities are carried out in government offices with the help of government machinery, she said.

“Government offices have become a haven for carrying out criminal activities and the State is encouraging political murders during the past nine months. The killers have attacked our party leader inside the mandal office which shows the vindictive attitude and the State patronage,” she said and demanded an inquiry into all the political murders after TDP has come to power.
