YSRCP condemns irregularities

Hyderabad, Condemning the reports of irregularities in the ongoing Mission Kakatiya, taken up by the TRS Government, Telangana unit of YSR Congress has said that the project should not turn out into a Party welfare scheme.
Of the 9,575 tanks to be taken up for repairs under the ambitious plan, tenders were called for works on 1,645 tanks and there are reports that irregularities have taken place in calling of tenders, YSRCP Telangana General Secretary Yedma Kishta Reddy told reporters here on Tuesday.
The Mission Kakatiya should not become a party affair but the works should be carried out in the intended manner and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao should keep his word of eradicating corruption in the State. We appreciate the programme but the irregularities should be checked forthwith, he said.
