YSRCP celebrates Independence day





Hyderabad: Hoisting the National Flag at YSR Congress Party Headquarters here today on the occasion of 72 Independence Day, Opposition Leader at state legislative council Ummareddy Venkateswarulu participated in the celebrations along senior YSRCP leaders, workers and supporters. Speaking on the occasion, the senior leader said many heroes of the freedom fight sacrificed their lives for the country, there was lot to learn for the younger generations from the history. He said that financial resources and food production should grow as per the growth of the population in the country.

Ummareddy expressed his concern over the increase in the number of crimes against women. He said country's income was in the hands of few and those are stopping the fruits of Independence to reach out to all. Looting of public money was going on unabated and political system has been given a new definition. He pointed out that all the constitutional rules were being ignored which included shifting of party affiliations by elected representatives.

He further said that former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy gave due prominence to education and healthcare. Dr YSR padayatra was historical and YS Jagan's Paraja Sankalpa Yatra should continue with roaring success. He wished both the Telugu speaking states to be ahead in all fields.
