YSRCP Calls For Lok Sabha Debate On Special Status For AP

New Delhi: Demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) issued a notice in the Lok Sabha calling for a debate on the issue.
The notice was issued under Rule 184, which permits any party to request for a debate and voting on an issue.
 Speaking on the occasion, YSRCP MP YV Subba Reddy said that besides specials status, a special development package for Rayalaseema and North Andhra, Polavaram and Ramayapatnam port completion works will be debated in the Parliament.
