YSRCP cadre should be ready to counter Chandrababu's tactics

Guntur: YSR Congress Party MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy called upon the party workers and supporters to face Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's new tactics as and when elections approach. Speaking to media here today he said the YSRCP cadre should be ready to counter Chandrababu's tactics. There was need for taking care to ensure that voter lists are not tampered with, he said.

The YSRCP MP remarked that Chandrababu was a black mark on democracy. The AP CM was in secret consultations with the then Union Minister Chidambaram on the bifurcation of the state, he said. Special Category Status was panacea for AP, but the TDP chief had sidelined it for his personal gains, he observed. "Chandrababu ignored the issue of SCS to AP for his political benefits, misdeeds and financial misappropriation."

Mekapati said that in contrast, YSRCP President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy constantly thought about the future of the state. He said the YSRCP MPs sacrificed their MP posts for the sake of SCS to the state. "We are ready to face the bypolls and confident of winning," he added.
