YSRCP asks Naidu, Kiran not to betray people

Hyderabad, Nov 14,
2013: Accusing the Congress leadership of taking its political drama and
conspiracy over bifurcation to its peaks, YSR Congress Party on Thursday asked CM
Kiran Kumar Reddy and TDP President Chandrababu Naidu not to betray the
Samaikyadhra agitation and the people.

Party spokesperson Gattu
Ramachandra Rao told news persons here that both Kiran Kumar and Naidu are
enacting dramas over the issue of bifurcation and betraying the Seemandhra
people.

“Congress is a
1000-hooded cobra and Kiran Kumar is also part of it. He has been talking of Samaikyam
outward but cooperating with his Delhi bosses calmly over the bifurcation. The
planted reports of his being dismissed are only part of the drama he is
enacting at the behest of Sonia,” Gattu charged.

“If CM has really
opposed bifurcation and is batting for the unified state, Congress would have
taken action against him,” Gattu said and added: “Congress forced Sri Jagan
Mohan Reddy out of its fold just for conducting his Odarpu Yatra. How can it
keep quiet if Kiran has really rebelled?”

Saying that Congress is playing with
the lives of people in the state with its bifurcation drama, he questioned the
sagacity of the party in sending its representatives from the two regions to
the GoM discussions after the CWC decided in favour of bifurcation.

Faulting TDP for questioning the
YSRCP delegation attending the GoM discussions in Delhi, Gattu said the party
made it clear to the GoM in no uncertain terms that the state must be kept
united.

“How can you question our decision to
represent at the GoM discussions for opposing the bifurcation?” he asked,
adding that the entire TDP office should be converted into a mental hospital.
