YSR Congress To Observe ' Betrayal Day ' On Monday

YSR Congress Party will observe 'Betrayal Day ' on April 30 in Visakhapatnam against the TDP government' s failure in respecting the sentiments of Andhra people on special status issue.  

The party senior leader and MP Vijay Sai Reddy visited the dharna venue at Women's College and reviewed arrangements.  

Speaking to newsmen,  party senior leader G Amarnath alleged  that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu made the promise of grating special status to Andhra for 15 years on April 30 in 2014 election campaign .  After coming to power, all the leaders left AP People into the lurch.  

In a scathing attack,  he said the TDP Chief accepted the centre's  special package in lieu of special status only for commissions. After realizing  people revolted against him,  Chandrababu took U turn and playing political dramas on special status.
