YSR Congress Intensifies Fight Against Uranium Plant In YSR District

YSR Congress party intensified the fight against Uranium plant at Tummalapalli in YSR Kadapa district. The party MP from Kadapa  YS Avinash Reddy along the farmers affected by the plant staged big dharna.   

Avinash said he brought to the notice of Uranium Corporation of India Limited ( UCIL ) the pollution of ground water and also the fertile lands with the hazardous nuclear substances emitted from out of the Uranium plan. The Party also submitted memorandum to the UCIL CMD demanding for compensation to the farmers who lost their crops . 

The demand to link water supply to Parnepally pipeline, reconstruction of Tail End pond and displacement of  locals from the project site were already pending,  the YSR Congress MP said the deadline asking the company to respond to the demand in two weeks was already over.
