YS Jagan's two dharnas success unnerves TDP

Hyderabad, The two dharnas held by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Krishna district have been a grand success and have received massive response which has sent jitters in the TDP camp, YSR Congress has said and took strong objection the language used by a minister which is uncivilized, atrocious and foul.

‘The remarks coming from the minister belonging to the Krishna district stems out of the intolerance to the huge response YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has received for the two days during his dharnas at Machilipatnam and capital region,’ party Senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana told reporters here on Wednesday. The tone and tenor of the minister is unbecoming of a person holding public office and such remarks are shameful in a parliamentary democracy.

‘Using such foul and fetid language against our Leader, with whom people of the district have rallied, is unpardonable and a minister in the cabinet will be abhorred by the people. We strongly condemn the remarks. The mood of the people is against the TDP Government and its forcible acquisition of fertile land from unwilling farmers and it has reflected without any ambiguity in the dharna of YS Jagan. Unable to digest the success of the dharna the minister has resorted to unsavory remarks which we condemn vehemently, he said.

‘TDP leaders telling that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to stall the Polavaram project is ridiculous. It was our Party which has been time and again seeking the expedition of the project while TDP has brought Pattiseema project for kickbacks,’ he said. The official has clearly made a remark that the delay in Polavaram works is due to the lack of initiation from the State government. Though Polavaram was declared a national project, there is no progress in works which shows TDP is not inclined in completing the works. TDP has gone back on the loan waiver to farmers and DWACRA groups and the special status has been pushed back and back bringing up the special package.

‘YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been highlighting each and every failure of TDP and has become a thorn in its flesh which is coming out in the form of frustrated and foul statements from the leaders. We strongly condemn the remarks of the minister and will be with the people and take up their cause and the August 29 bandh will give more jitters to TDP government,’ he said.
