YS Jagan's padayatra progressing successfully in Pendurthi

Pendurthi: Muslim youth who were arrested at the 'Nara Hamara'  TDP rally in Guntur expressed their anguish about the merciless treatment meted out to them when they met Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today. They complained that they were arrested and tortured although their protest was a peaceful one. They held placards demanding justice as promised by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu in the party manifesto.

It may be recalled that eigth muslim youth belonging to Nandyal in Kurnool district were among those who were unlawfully detained for 30 hours and subjected to harassment by the AP police. They were subsequently released on bail. The youth told YS Jagan that they were branded as traitors and anti-nationals for demanding fulfillment of the promises made by the ruling party before elections. YS Jagan, who lent a patient ear to their woes, promised that all cases against them would be lifted once YSRCP comes to power.

Meanwhile, YS Jagan's padayatra is progressing successfully in Pendurthi.
