YS Jagan's Assurances To Muslims

Nellore: The leader of AP Opposition and YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that his party was committed towards the welfare of Muslims in the state and mentioned that after it comes to power Imams will be paid Rs 10,000 and Muezzin will be paid Rs 5,000 per month.

During Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Hasnapur of Atmakur constituency in Potti Sri Ramulu Nellore district, YS Jagan spelled out his plans for Muslim community during his meeting with the community members here. He promised Rs one lakh to all the parents with girl children under Dulhan scheme.

The YSRCP Chief also assured that after their party comes to power they will working towards bringing Muslims under BC-E category. He pointed out that development works of not just Masjids, but also temples and churches would be taken up.

YS Jagan assured that after YSRCP comes to power, he will stand by the people who have been cheated by Agrigold. He mentioned that they have been informing Chandrababu that Rs 1100 would be required to bail out the depositors out the Agrigold crisis, but the CM was not listening.

He promised provide complete fee reimbursement for all the poor students in the state and said Rs 30,000 given by the present government as fee reimbursement was not enough. Apart from fee reimbursement, college going students would be given Rs 20,000 per year for expenses, similarly school going children would be given Rs 15,000, he mentioned.

YS Jagan assured that if they come into power, old age pension age limit would be reduced from 65 to 60 years, while it would be 45 years for BC, SC, ST and Minority women. And the pension amount will be Rs 2,000 per month.

He promised that even Rs 1000 medical bill will come under Arogya Sri scheme and when the head of the family is on bed due to surgery, financial help will be provided to the family. He informed that in critically ills cases Rs 10,000 pension would provided to the patient and added that Agrogya Sri, fee reimbursement, pensions and ration cards will be sanctioned within 72 hours.
