YS Jagan slams petty politics in welfare schemes

Ananatapur: Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the people should be empowered to penalise the politicians and parties that go back on their promises to the people. He said Chandrababu Naidu has done nothing for the people of the state during the last four years of his rule.
Addressing a mammoth public meeting at Peddavaduguru in Tadpatri constituency on Tuesday on the Day 27 of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, he asked the people of the state to reject Chandrababu Naidu for duping the people by going back on his election promises. He said Chandrababu Naidu rule has become a byword for corruption and misinformation. He said no one was happy in the state after Chandrababu Naidu took over as the chief minister, he added. He said that the TDP government has created Janma Bhoomi Committees, which were rejecting the applications for sanitary toilets, houses and pensions just because the applicants did not vote for them. He said the Janma Bhoomi committees have become village-level mafias and are looting everything in the village.
He said the YSRCP has announced Navaratnalu with a view to bring smiles back on the face of the people of the state. He said the people would be happy only when the Rajanna Rajyam returned. He said his party was eliciting the opinions of the people, based on which the party manifesto would be prepared.
