YS Jagan questions resolutions on SCS

YSR allocated Rs 5,540 crore to Polavaram, recalls YS Jagan

Chandrababu's Goebbels's Propaganda!

Velagapudi: YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday questioned the TDP leaders about the resolutions passed during Cabinet meetings and in Assembly on Special Status for Andhra Pradesh. Addressing the honorable Chair in AP legislative Assembly during a resolution passed by the government to thank the Centre for Special Package to the State, YS Jagan alleged that  Chandrababu Naidu had mortgaged AP special status to the Centre. He flayed Chandrababu for the policies adopted for Polavaram Project.

While YS Jagan addressing the Chair, the TDP leaders  Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar, Uma Maheshwara Rao, Kamineni Srinivas including AP CM Chandrababu had tried to obstruct YS Jagan from giving his reply to the Speaker.
Before the Polavaram Project was announced as national project, people's leader and the then Chief Minister of AP YS Rajasekhara Reddy had allocated Rs 5,540 crore, YS Jagan recalled.

"Now the TDP government had so far spent Rs 8,800 crore for Polavaram," he said. Even after the Planning Commission's recommendations, the special status issue was buried by the Centre.

The YSRCP chief accused Chandrababu of meekly surrendering  and of compromising with the Centre to wriggle out of cases.

Reminding Chandrababu Naidu about the assurance on SCS for 15 years given during the election meetings , YS Jagan said that Chandrababu resorted to Goebbels propaganda saying that as per the 14th Finance Commission's recommendations, special status cannot be given to  Andhra Pradesh.

He also questioned Chandrababu as to why he is not questioning the Centre on the Special Status. What is the point in thanking the central cabinet for so called approval, YS Jagan asked
