Ananthapur: YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would begin his Padayatra on November 2 from Idupulpaya and round it off at Ichchapuram on the northeastern tip of the state covering over 3,000 km in a space six months.
Announcing the schedule at the 10th Yuva Bheri programme here on Tuesday, he said, ' my padayatra will begin from Idupulapaya and the course would run from Chittoor to Ichchapuram covering the entire state. The padayatra will continue for six months and cover about 3,000 km.
The Yuva Bheri programme aiming at highlighting the importance of Special Category Status (SCS) will hereafter be taken up by the local leadership and the constituency coordinators will take over the Youth progamme,' he said amidst cheers from the students.
The Padayatra is the mass contact programme aimed at highlighting the failures of Chandrababu Naidu government and enlightening them as to how the Nava Ratnas would benefit the people and roll in the welfare state of YSR where all sections of the people would be happy, he said.
