YS Jagan Meets Farmers Of Abdullapuram

Kurnool: The leader of opposition in AP and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, remarked that demonetisation had increased the misery of farmers. As part of the third day of Rythu Bharosa Yatra being conducted in Kurnool district, he toured in Abdullapuram of Velugodu mandal and examined the local crop fields. He spoke to the farmers and learnt about their problems.
Agricultural labourers revealed that their daily wage was only around Rs.130 - 150 and farmers took to his notice that there was no fair price for their produce and this year's drought and pest infestation had cut down the quantity of produce in the first place. They added that 10 quintals of black gram had been produced per acre last year but now it had come down to 3-4 quintals. Farmers also stated to the Jananeta, that they had been facing troubles due to demonetisation.
YS Jagan shared their sadness and assured them that farmers' Government would come in two years.
