YS Jagan expresses grief over building collapse victims

Hyderabad: YSRCP chief and opposition leader in AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed grief over the death of construction workers when an under construction building collapsed on Thursday night. The death toll of the victims has risen to five. YS Jagan prayed for the early recovery of the victims who are in undergoing treatment. 


Senior YSRCP leader  Botsa Satyanarayana, Telangana YSRCP leader Gattu Srikanth Reddy and several other workers visited the site where the tragic incident took place near Nanakramguda in Hyderabad. Speaking to media persons, Botsa Satyanarana demanded that Rs 30 lakh should be announced for the families of the deceased who lost their lives in the collapse. He said the victims had come to the city in search of work.

Boats Satyanarayana also demanded the AP government to extend financial aid to the victims. Meanwhile, the rescue teams unearthed one more woman from the rubble. So far, four workers were pulled out from the debris. The deceased were identified as Narayanamma, Pydamma, Gouriswari. Some more workers are learnt to have been trapped after the collapse.
